Good everyday watch. I hate all the big, goofy "sports" watches that I find at all the retail stores. This is a simple digital watch, easy to set, good stopwatch. Not intrusive, doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.

La Crosse Technology WT-967S Metal Strap Atomic Watch Review

La Crosse Technology WT-967S Metal Strap Atomic Watch
Average Reviews:

This is a great watch.
It looks stylish and syncs automatically with the atomic reference in Colorado. Please note that because it syncs automatically, there is only one button!! You will not be able to easily set it manually, but you don't need to. Using the one button, you just need to select the time zone you are in,
and once the watch syncs, you are set.
The display is clear from all angles and all light conditions including semi-bright sunlight, which is much better than many other LCD watches.
Band is adjustable, great watch.

Casio Men's AW81D-1AV Ana-Digi 10-Year Battery Watch Review

Casio Men's AW81D-1AV Ana-Digi 10-Year Battery Watch
Average Reviews:

About 3 months after purchase, the digital display started to act strange...flashing randomly. Replaced the battery, to no effect. Took it into a watch repair shop, where the same failure was duplicated, and I was told to send it into Casio.
Sent it into the Casio America Repair Center, but it came back with the problem unresolved...appears Casio only took care to note all the scratches on the case. So, I am sending it back in again, with more detailed description of the defect. Pretty soon, the shipping costs will be more than what I paid for this lemon.
BTW, as others noted, the "crystal" is extremely easy to scratch.

Casio Men's GW700A-1V G-Shock Solar Atomic Watch Review

Casio Men's GW700A-1V G-Shock Solar Atomic Watch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is the best digital watch I have had. The other watches were "water resistant" but I found out that the water resistance went out the window once the seal was broken by replacing the battery which always seemed to be needed sooner than I expected. Since this is a solar watch I do not expect to have to replace the battery (and break the seal) for years. It was charged and at the correct time out of the box. It automatically resets the time every day from a signal in Fort Collins, CO. (No problem in IN) which is supposed to cover all of the USA. It also adjusted automatically to DST. In addition it has 5 alarms which are easy to set so I have used them through the day as reminders. The weak "link" so to speak may be the plastic band. It will likely break before the watch and I'm not sure it can be replaced.

The perfect training partner for your active sporting lifestyle, this Casio G-Shock men's digital sport watch (model GW700A-1V) offers a black resin case that's accented by a silver top ring and light digital gray display as well as a black resin strap. It's also solar-powered and wirelessly receives atomic time updates. It offers a 1/100-second stopwatch with a 60-minute measuring capacity and a time recorder with up to 30 records, It also features four independent daily alarms (with one snooze alarm), world time from 30 cities, and an autocalendar (to the year 2039). And because it's solar-powered--charging in either sunlight or indoor light--you'll never have to deal with changing the battery. Other features include a scratch-resistant mineral crystal, AfterGlow LED electro-luminescent backlight, and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet)--suitable for recreational scuba diving.
This radio-controlled watch receives a time calibration signal transmitted from Fort Collins, Colorado, and signal reception is possible within a radius of about 2,000 miles from the Fort Collins transmitter. You can choose to automatically receive this signal four times a day, or manually update the watch to the atomic clock.

Casio Women's LW201-1AV Digital Alarm Chronograph Watch Review

Casio Women's LW201-1AV Digital Alarm Chronograph Watch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The reliability of Casio watches are great but the buttons on the sides always depress too easily, so you can unwittingly change what mode you're in with a mere flick of the wrist (depending how loose you wear it) or a bump from some sliding bracelets on the same arm. Annoying because if you're looking for the time, the watch could have switched to the Alarm mode or to 24 HR mode without you being aware. So you have to go through all the cycles to get the time mode to display again. I had this problem with my older Casio and was hoping this new one would be better. Not so -- in fact, a wee bit more fussy because it has one more function button than my other one. But it's still a nice, functional, daily-wear watch.

Casio Women's LW200-1AV Illuminator 10-Year Battery Digital Watch
Average Reviews:

I abuse my watches, so there's no point in getting an expensive one. The two features I'd like to change about this watch are: 1) Add a timer feature and 2)Make the buttons smaller so they don't get accidentally pushed. I had a Timex Expedition for many years, but they don't make it any more. This one is probably slightly dressier-looking than the more rugged Expedition, but I prefer the Expedition for its timer and it's smaller buttons.

Casio Men's WV58DA-1AV Waveceptor Atomic Sport Watch
Average Reviews:

This watch has a lot of features like stop watch, alarm, and automatic time sync. They are work well. It also has some negatives. This watch is heavy and big. My bicep has grown an inch in the first week. The wrist band is difficult to re-size. You must remove links unless you have a huge wrist. You will need an awl, or something slender and pointed. The keys that hold these links togeter came out very hard, I scratched the outside of the band with every link removed. I should have laid the band on a soft cloth (my fault). The watch is perfectly accurate, not bad looking, and priced under $40. That's a pretty good value for this type of watch.

10 of AG3/LR41 Alkailine Button Cell Watch Battery Review

10 of AG3/LR41 Alkailine Button Cell Watch Battery
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I ordered a pack of 10 LR41 watch batteries a couple of days ago and they arrived promtly, even ahead of schedule. However, NOT A SINGLE ONE (!!) of the 10 batteries worked. They are clearly all past their expiration date and are no longer functioning. These batteries are made in China and on the back of the packet there is no production date, only a 2 year expiration date which has no doubt been exceeded. Yes the price of the batteries are very reasonable ($2.09), but it's no good if the product doesn't work at all. I see that most of the other reviews have been positive (which is why I chose this seller). I would like to believe that all it means is that it's a hit and miss thing and others just had better luck than I did. I have contacted the seller through Amazon and will update on the outcome.

Seiko Men's SKX007K Diver's Automatic Watch Review

Seiko Men's SKX007K Diver's Automatic Watch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My uncle had been wearing the Seiko SKX007 (although his may be a different model number) since the early 80s. I was a little kid back then and I may not have consciously noticed his watch, But his watch must have left some impact, because I've always been partial to divers watches, and currently own several. These include two quartz Bulovas, one quartz Swatch, and most recently an automatic Omega Seamaster Professional (the James Bond model). The Bulovas were OK, the Swatch is a piece of garbage, and the Omega is just a delight to own.
And yet, none of these ever seemed to match my mind's idealized image of what a divers watch should be.
A short time after buying the Omega, I came across the Seiko on some watch aficionado website. I recognized it as the watch my uncle has worn all these years and was surprised to realize that this very watch was the image against which I judged all other diver watches. I wanted it badly. But having just spent a bundle on a watch I couldn't justify the purchase.
Until the end of December. Out of nowhere, my not-a-year-old Omega started gaining close to an hour a day!! A bizarre circumstance followed by an immediate delivery to the local Omega authorized dealer. It would take nearly a month until my watch was repaired and returned.
What's a guy to do? I knew .... I went to Amazon and bought the Seiko I always wanted. An automatic and the less expensive model; the pricier model has square number markers, not circles.
Always the pessimist, I prepared myself for disappointment. I hadn't seen my uncle's watch for some time and just expected a let down of some sort. I was concerned the face would just look radically different from what I hoped for, and I'd be stuck with a watch I didn't want to wear. And despite my fears, I kept heading to the window all morning on the day the watch was scheduled to arrive.
Finally, the UPS truck pulled up in front of my house and sure enough, he was holding my new "replacement" watch. I opened the box and out came the watch I always wanted --- looking and feeling exactly as I had wished.
Now I regularly alternate between my $2000 Omega and my $200 Seiko. It keeps perfect time! It is aesthetically fantastic! And it just feels great on my wrist! It is big, and the rubber band is not elegant. But 'not elegant' in the sense that it looks out of place when I wear it with a suit. But in any other situation, it looks just right.
Here are some observations: The face is beautiful. The band is thick and rugged, the antithesis of cheap or flimsy. The luminescence stays luminescent for hours into the dark. The automatic second hand sweep is graceful and solid. The case is unbrushed steel, substantial in weight, and heavy-duty like industrial strength machinery. The top of the lugs are brushed steel and the contrast only enhances the watch's natural good looks. The screw-down crown is BIG and has deep grooves, which makes it easy to screw and unscrew, not to mention set.
The bezel is my favorite feature because the grooves on the side are designed for serious use. If you want to turn that unidirectional bezel, be assured -- it will not slip. The watch is so solid that you can only conclude that conventional opinion, at least someone still makes it like they used to.
For balance, I'll mention the one and only aspect of the watch that I would prefer were different. You cannot stop the second hand. Even as you're setting the time, the second hand continues to move, making it impossible to perfectly synchronize the watch with an atomic clock. Then again, hopefully not everyone is like me, and has to have a perfectly synchronized watch.
To conclude, obviously I highly, highly recommend the Seiko SKX007. Keep in mind: if hard-core diver watches are NOT your thing, you may quickly realize that this watch is way too much watch to handle. But if you're a diver watch lover like me -- even if, like me, you've never worn a wet suit in your life -- this watch is as much the real deal as you'll ever get.

Casio Men's W756-1AV Digital Sport Watch Review

Casio Men's W756-1AV Digital Sport Watch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I was just looking for a simple sports watch with both a stopwatch and countdown timer, but this had a lot more than I expected (or needed). It has some timer features particularly for referees, which you may or may not find a use for. While all the features are easy enough to learn, having six modes means a lot of button presses (up to 6) to get back to the main mode. Fortunately, the main mode has a different beep sound, so you can keep pressing it quickly without looking until you hear it. It does what I need though with some complexity. Perhaps I will come to use the other features as well.
Looks: Nice; a bit thick for my taste (about 1/2"; spec says .58"), but it seems a lot of men's sports watches are like that these days
- The main picture shown above is misleading - there is NO blue backlight, but a cheapish orange LED that emits from left side over a dull gray background. The word "Illuminator" inscribed at the top of the watch is also misleading. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that supposed to be Casio's blue backlight technology? Maybe this watch used to have it, but not now. The LED works fine but does not look as nice
- Lens is not recessed so it is easy to scratch
Battery: 10-yr spec assumes use of any feature only once/week (a joke?)
Manual: Hard to read as it is very small and thick
- Get the free 3-page PDF manual which has all the info but is much easier to read, at the watch manual section of the casio site (enter 3100 for Module No.)
Stopwatch: I did not like it; it seems specialized for things like soccer
- Two counts displayed
- The Main count shows 100ths of sec but cannot be stopped at all (kind of useless). It can be set to beep after a specified elapsed time (like end of soccer regulation)
- The small count in corner (harder to read) acts like a standard stopwatch. No splits; just start, stop. It does not show 100ths of sec. In soccer, can use to count stoppage time
Preset countdown timer: Can choose from these times(min): 10,12,20,15,20,25,30,35,40,45
- Auto-repeat feature: If enabled, counts the number repeats (up to 99). If disabled, it just counts up after it hits zero and sounds the alarm, like most countdown timers do
- I like that the current time is in the corner so I don't have to switch modes to find out
Interval Countdown timer: You can use this as a regular countdown timer settable from 1 to 59 min, though I wish it could be set higher. There are also 8 additional timers which you can set individually. The watch will detect which timers are set and run them sequentially. You could use this for interval training or game timing. Auto-repeat can be set for the whole sequence.
World Clock: You can have this display the time in practically any other time zone. 3-letter codes for cities, and DST can be set separately for each
Alarm: Standard features, hourly chime
Other: Button beeps can be turned off
Overall: A decent watch, especially for the price. It's growing on me, I think.

I bought this watch as a cheap, reliable timekeeper for somewhat rough international travel. It is a great watch and looks good, particularly for the money, except for one really important thing: It's an alarm watch, and the alarm is so quiet and high-pitched that it's very difficult to hear unless you're in a very quiet room. It's certainly not loud enough to wake any but the lightest sleepers. Thus one of its main functions isn't all that useful. Otherwise, it looks cool, is totally accurate, and the price was right.

Exactly as advertised. A little smaller than the standard G-Shock, which is what I was looking for. Band fits nice, although quite wide.

Thin, comfortable watch. It has a "geek sheik retro" thing happening.
I bought it as an extra watch for wearing to the gym only. But have found myself wearing it nearly all the time.
Don't let the low price make you think this is a flimsy watch; it's not. This is a quality watch.
I personally like the loud 80's-like "beep" it gives when you press the buttons. It gives a similiar loud "beep-beep" on-the-hour if you set it to do that.
WatchZone was the seller, through Amazon.com, and for whatever reason they FedEx 2-day'd the watch to me for no extra charge. Your mileage may vary, but I was impressed.

Casio Men's EF521SP-1AV Edifice Retrograde Analog Chronograph Watch Review

Casio Men's EF521SP-1AV Edifice Retrograde Analog Chronograph Watch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Overall, I am rather pleased with this watch. It is attractive and stylish and has a large, easily-readable face. The red accents and black-on-black pattern produce a very nice touch of elegance.
The adjustment dial is easy to use and the buttons are easy to push. I like the size and location of the date window, as well as the fact that there is also a day-of-week dial which is not too common on chronograph watches.
The retrograde dials are a unique touch and add visual distinction. When the dials travel backwards (day from Sunday to Monday, or chrono minutes when reset), it is an instant "snap" motion.
My main gripe about this watch is that after the chronograph has measured 30 minutes, it simply stops! The chronograph hands just freeze at the 30 minute mark, instead of continuing again from 0. Most chronographs continue running, and it is up to you to note how many (half) hours passed (usually by means of a bezel which rotates so you can mark off how far the hour hand has traveled).
The only other small gripe is that the screws on the band were so tiny I had to spend $10 at a jeweler to get it sized. I have a set of tiny watch screwdrivers that worked fine on other bands but this one was just too tiny.

With a stylish and multi-use design, the Casio Edifice Double Retrograde Chronograph Watch has a sporty yet elegant look. With a subtle checkerboard pattern, the black dial features three black and silver sub-dials: the circular sub-dial offers 60-second stopwatch timing, the demi-arc provides 30-minute retrograde stopwatch timing, and the other retrograde arc indicates the day of the week. The date displays at four o'clock, and the silver-tone hands and bar hour markers are luminous for easier night reading. The red-tipped black seconds hand matches the red detailing on the sub-dials, and the 40-millimeter silver-tone stainless steel case and bezel include tachymeter indexes for easy time-to-speed conversions. The fashionable and rugged 20-millimeter stainless steel band has a secure fold-over-clasp-with-safety, and the mineral dial window resists scratching. Water resistant up to 330 feet, this watch is powered with analog-quartz movement.
