Wanted a watch to give me tides at my house & this 1 does at a great price. Easy to set up. only draw back,(& was mentioned by another reviewer), is a very soft face that is not resessed enough. Within 2 days of wearing I had 2 major scratches on the face. If you buy 1 slap a screen cover on the face from day 1! You have been warned.
Other than that no regrets. Does everything it says it will.

Casio Men's G9100-1 G-Shock Gulfman Tide and Moon Watch Review

Casio Men's G9100-1 G-Shock Gulfman Tide and Moon Watch
Average Reviews:

PROS:
1) comfortable watch to wear: as other reviewers point out, it feels well balanced despite it's physical size.
2) Fits well, even for smaller wrist sizes: the material, shape of the band and its width all work to make this a comfortable watch.
3) Titanium backing (lightweight and resists corrosion).
4) The tide and moon functions seem to be fairly accurate and are fun/useful to have readily available.
5) Really, it's not that bulky when compared to many other watches. For example it's comparable to a self winding analog watch.
CONS:
1) It's bulk is felt if you wear it with tight fitting sleaves (such as knitted wrists on a jacket).
2) The booklet that comes with it is a little tedius to use (small pages and print), which may be why some people found it difficult to set up. However, you can easily find a .pdf file on the Internet that is full size and easier to read.
In general, the Moon Phase and Tide functions require you to invest a little more time in learning to use the watch - but that ought to be expected. In the end, you may even enjoy learning some of the science behind it.

So far I am very pleased with my purchase. After reviewing the user manual I was amazed at how many functions this comes with for the price. The re-chargeable, solar-powered battery is a great option. It takes about a day to charge form dead to full if you leave it in the sun. If you wear it every day it should never drop in power. It does have a battery power indicator on it which I have never seen drop below full. The specs say if you put it in a drawer and never charge it, it should stay on for over a year if it was fully charged before.
There's also a power save function so that if you leave it in the dark the face turned off until it either sees light or you press a button (very handy so that it doesn't run down at night). This is an option you can disable by the way if you don't like it.
The calendar is also preprogrammed for the next nine decades (including a daylight savings time function).
As for the size and appearance, I was surprised at how well it fit me. I have pretty small wrists and usually I buy watches in the 38-39mm range, (this watch measures about 41mm) but actually it fits pretty well. It's not a very 'chunky' watch. It's also a bit ugly, but if you ask me that's part of the appeal for this type of watch. I bought this for its functionality and it excels in this category

Great features and value, including tide info... and no batteries since solar powered! Tide indication is a little rough, but it gives you a relative idea.

Casio Men's W753D-1AV Moon Phase Tide Graph Sport Watch Review

Casio Men's W753D-1AV Moon Phase Tide Graph Sport Watch

Good watch and easy as to set up if you read the manual (can get it online). The moon age is out by a day constantly though (which effects the tide graph), and it doesn't look like you can adjust this (it calculates from your 'home site data' and date) other than fiddling with GMT time or lunitidal interval values... which isn't ideal and probably isn't accurate either. Apart from that it's a pretty cool watch... just wish it was more accurate with the tides coz I use it for water sports. 5 alarms is good (I struggle to get up sometimes ;), auto light is handy at times. Tide graph is hard to erad when it's low tide coz the display is little. Case isn't all stainless steel either, it's plastic where the band pins join to the case which is a bummer coz it won't be as strong.
