Torgoen Swiss Men's T06201 Pilot Computer E6B Dual Time Zone Stainless Steel Watch Review

Pros: This is a fairly large and heavy watch. It feels solid and is nice looking. The slide rule scales are small, but can be read without magnification.
Cons: This watch has several really annoying features that I think everyone should know. The minute had is so long that it extends past the minute index marks and it is so wide that it spans two minutes at any time. It is impossible to see prcisely what time it is because of this.
The bracelet has only one extra set of micro adjustment holes on the deployment, so it is hard to get it to fit correctly. There are no half size links in the bracelet. You can only size it by removing full links. It is either too loose or too snug.
The bracelet does not have a saftey catch on the deployment.
The second hand does not align with the index marks. This is mostly a cosmetic problem, but I think it is an indication of the overall quality.

Oceanus Men's OCWM700TBA-1A Atomic Titanium Watch Review

Oceanus Men's OCWM700TBA-1A Atomic Titanium Watch

This watch works as advertised, very accurate, tide graph works well (which is the biggest reason I bought this watch). No problems with atomic sync. The watch is light for its size (titanium)and quite rugged. I've been using this as an everyday watch for about 8 months now and apart from a few cosmetic scratches around the bezel, there is nothing else to show the abuse it has taken. The glass shows no scratches at all even after a few bangs against a concrete wall (unintentional). I've worn this watch while snorkelling and deep sea fishing (almost every weekend) and it is holding out pretty well. As mentioned in another review the alarm feature is a bit of a pain to use, but otherwise I'm happy with my purchase. Even without the atomic sync this watch keeps great time - for those occations when you are in remote locations. My only concern is that I think the scratches make the watch look old and worn, with the silver version they would not be visible, but the black surface highlights them. Still a great watch and a good buy.

The watch looks good but has a small problem that messes up the entire watch! The band falls of at the most strange times! Day one went to get my computer bag from the back seat of the car and the watch goes flying off my wrist right on to the blacktop! One hour old and has three scratches on the glass! I put the band back on and with a small screwdriver make sure both pins a properly seated the twist and pull! Figure I got it now! Day two go to open the front door watch falls off this time no visible damage! Go through the same process twist and pull harder this time.
Day three watch falls off on to the blacktop while getting in the car! This time with a nice dent to the body of the watch! Now I have a three day old ****** up watch! Plan on taking it to watch repair and enlarge the holes and get a new band. I like the watch but come on! Being out of the country for the next 9 months so I can not return it, if they would even take a scratched and dented watch! I would try another brand!

Oceanus Men's Solar Atomic Titanium Chronograph Watch Review

Oceanus Men's Solar Atomic Titanium Chronograph Watch
Average Reviews:

This is a really nice watch if you can take the price. If you are not a watch collector or geek you may want to forgo this one however. It has about 50 different functions and only four buttons so getting it to do something specific is not very easy. As a matter of fact the included owner's manual is some 40 pages of microscopic print. Fortunately you can down-load and print a manual with larger type from the Casio web site (you'll need it). The watch has 6 hands and 5 dial faces. Three of the dial faces have multiple uses so just figuring out what mode the watch is in requires noting the positions of all 6 hands on all 5 dials and then comparing the configuration you see to diagrams and descriptions in the manual.
The second time zone feature is nice and swapping your home zone for the zone of a city you are visiting is handy. It just takes 16 key strokes (presses?) and is described in detail on page 37 of the manual. By the way, while in Switzerland this spring I couldn't get it to receive time signals from either England or Germany. The Swiss hate the watch because they say that they can do everything mechanically that it can do electronically so I wonder if they are jamming the signal.
Everyone notices this watch. That is good and bad. The good is you can take it off and show them how light it is and how many functions (dials, hands) it has. The bad happens if they ask you to demonstrate one of the functions. In that case you have to pull out the manual and start reading and pressing and comparing. The other bad thing is when you pull the manual out they see "Casio" on the cover of the manual and say "You spent HOW MUCH for that Casio?".
I gave it two stars for bling and two stars for being geek. That's four stars, right?
