(More customer reviews)The face on this watch is a ton darker than it appears in the photo. It works fine in full sunlight or indoors with full indoor lighting. Dawn, Dusk or Dark the red numbers cannot be seen unless you activate back-light, which is going to severely affect the battery life.
I do like the all black coating and the idea of red numbers on the face to save night vision. However, the numbers should be brighter.
I've worn a G-shock since 1993, and the watch band on this watch is not as comfortable as my last watch.
