The compass feature - the main reason I bought the watch - doesn't work well at all - it constantly has problems and claims to need to be calibrated. I'm guessing the waterproof aspects work well but haven't had a chance to dive with it. Overall you're probably better off buying a very inexpensive waterproof digital watch and a separate compass. The two would probably not be much bulkier than the watch anyways!
