-Smaller profile than most G-shocks
-Purple face is unique and more subtle than I expected.
-Bright lume. I use the light function all the time.
-Main screen displays a lot of information.
-Find myself using features like World Time and count down timer frequently.
Cons:
-The strap is ugly. Only the top link of the strap is made of resin. Casio threads an ugly leather strap through this link that looks unattractive and causes the watch face to sit above my wrist. I'll be buying a replacement strap if possible.
-Some people may expect the purple face to be more vibrant.
Overall:
I'd buy this watch again. The price was low enough to make purchasing a replacement strap cost effective.

I figured the buttons on this watch instead of tiny knobs would be easier for him to control, the dial looked like it was easy to read, and the programming would be a breeze with fewer bells and whistles! Dad loves the watch and for all the reasons I listed and more! This is the perfect watch for anyone wanting a moderately priced watch with necessary modes, but not with too many gadgets! Dad is happy and so am I!
