(More customer reviews)I purchased this watch at Macy's because it follows the style of their classic 5000 series of watches but with a twist. It recharges under light and has a wide selection of modes such as 4 alarms, world time, stop watch, and timer. It also automatically updates your time every night, provide the tide levels, and the moon phases. As for me, the tide levels and the moon phases are pretty much useless to me, but the white face, inverted screen, and black strap sealed the deal for me in terms of fashion.
Over all its a good watch that has functionality and fashion. If its anything like the old g shocks, it will last for years and years. My only complaint after owning it for about a month is that the "shiny white gloss" on the face does not seem it will last as long. On the more sharper edges of the watch i can already spot parts where the coat was coming off and revealed a flat darker white under the gloss. I'm sure surfers or people that use this while at the beach will definitely beat up the coat. Eh, anyways other than that good watch.
