(More customer reviews)I purchased this item a few weeks ago and am enjoying it. I had one a few years ago and when it went south the altimeter is the thing I missed most. After being without for a couple of years it is nice to an altimeter back. The nice thing about this watch it is much cheaper than the one I purchased years ago and works just as well. Because of the way they work it is not 100% accurate because it works on barometric pressure which can change with a storm or two. That known, it is still fun to play with. If you want something that is 100% accurate get a GPS which works off of a satellite and should be 100% accurate all of the time but they are not as portable or as inexpensive.
