it is a handsome watch. unique and stylish. i am happy i bought it but unfortunately, the seller "DIGITAL WRIST" sent me a lemon. besides the fact that the package delivery took ages.
i do not know who to blame about my purchase. CASIO or DIGITAL WRIST.
anyway, the item they shipped me has a loose plastic part which looked like it was poorly assembled. they really must have poor quality inspection in thailand. i do not know about the other models in the g-shock line. they used to be made in japan. subcontracting labor to other countries for cheaper labor costs at the price of inferior manufacturing?
i havent received any reply from DIGITAL WRIST yet and i cannot consider the option of sending it back for a replacement because i am going out of the country this weekend and i won't be back in months.
as elaborately described enough by amazon, i wouldnt bother going over the features of this item. here are some points i noticed which you may or may not find helpful.
* i recommend the watch.
* it fits the average wrist nicely. it is not huge like the other g-shock models but still feels bold and masculine. it's got a hefty feel to it that says "expensive".
* excellent choice for smart casual weekenders or everyday use.
* i like the "not too bright" illuminator.
* the reverse "light on dark" display is slightly difficult to read but it does not bother me.
* the plastic wrapping and the photocopied ghetto manual that came with it looks really cheap. what's up casio?
* i haven't tried it in heavy duty action or water sports yet but i sure hope it still holds up to the g-shock reputation.
* of course a black digital watch never goes out of style especially when it's a casio.
* oh, buy it from another seller.
