(More customer reviews)I researched this model watch thoroughly before buying because I have owned other Casio watches and knew the features I wanted in my next Casio. First, let me say that I've never owned a Casio that was a disappointment. But this time I wanted a watch that didn't require a battery change every 3 or 4 years. I also wanted the G-Shock series, solar power and automatic daily time correction. I personally like analog/mechanical movements which this watch is totally. The MTG1000BR-1A is all of these in a very handsome Rose Gold/Black package. If there is any one thing that could be better it would be more than 1 hour on the countdown timer. But one can easily restart the timer on the hour so even that's no big drawback. Unless you're mechanically inclined you'll want to have a jeweler to remove links in the band to fit your wrist. Casio doesn't include instructions for that although I was able to discover the assembly method of the band and adjust my own. However, it is rather difficult to do if you don't have the knowledge and proper tools. If you register the watch online with Casio for warranty purposes they give you an extra year of warranty for a total of 2 years. I like the watch extremely well and it has 5 stars from me.
