(More customer reviews)This is my 3rd G shock in 20 years... Yes, they last a very long time. I replaced my G-2900, which is by far, my favorite, because the band broke. I got this G2900F-3VDR because it was on sale and looked nearly exactly the same as my G2900. The color is like a dark military brown. Love it. The only thing I miss is the metal button that you push to backlight the face. It is plastic in this model, and makes it look just a little cheap. Otherwise, I still love this watch!
