Its black on black...black band, black face & black numbers...hot even though it may be a bit hard to read because of the black face but I like it because it was different and I wanted a black watch. It came with the directions but it took me a minute to get it at the correct time, date, etc...But I think that's with any watch that has all those extra features. Anyways, its my first Baby-G watch and I really like it, its cute, girly & still edgy!!!
