(More customer reviews)The FROGMAN and RISEMAN G-Shocks get all the attention but there's a lot to like about these battery-powered MUDMANs! I love my new G9000MX-2 (blue motocross) MUDMAN!
1. One of the top 3 toughest G-Shocks available! In addition to the usual Shock & water resistance, the MUDMAN also has Mud/Dirt/Dust intrusion resistence and Low-temperature resistance.
2. Flash alert. The EL Backlight flashes when alarm sounds or Chrono starts or Timer reaches zero.
3. Dual 1000 hr Chronos with 5 second count-in option! Very few G-Shocks have this. Most Casio Chronographs can only time up to 24 hrs.
4. 24 hr countdown Timer with Auto-repeat option. Most Casio G-Shock Timers do not have the Auto-Repeat feature. (This Timer can only be set by hrs & minutes, not seconds)
5. 5 multi-function alarms (settable by Mo/day-of-month/hour/minute) provides yearly, monthly, daily function. Many G-shocks only have daily alarms.
6. World time with 48 city codes (best available)
7. Very lightweight and comfortable. This watch will quickly become your favorite.
8. Dual prong (double barrel) band clasp is actually easier & quicker to engage and feels more comfortable against your wrist.
9. Watch does not slide around or have the tendency to slip around to the underside of your wrist like heavier G-Shocks. Also band keeper loop stays put!
NOTE!: The Solar/Atomic version of the MUDMAN does NOT have Low-temp resistance, dual chronos or Flash Alert and is only available in Black!
