Some basics: I've owned Casio watches since I was a kid, so for more than 30 years. I've never had one fail and would bet that if I put a battery in my first watch it would work. I have only worn this watch for a week, but I wanted to get this review on here to help others who were looking at it. This watch is a very good looking one suitable for many types of dress, from casual to suits. It has a nice weight to it, but not too heavy, and with the bracelet style band is very professional looking. The three dials in the middle make it a popular style these days and I'm sure it will get lots of compliments.
Some points of interest: This watch does not have any kind of a lighting mechanism. Why you would make a watch without one I don't know, but they did, and is the reason I did not give the watch 5 stars (that and I don't know that I would pay $90 for it; I found it cheeper elsewhere). The watch does have the markings that, when charged by light, will glow in the dark, but it does not last long. Two of the three dials within the watch are for the stop watch function, but interestingly enough, the bottom dial is not the second hand of the stop watch, but the second hand of the watch itself. It takes a little getting used to, but I think the idea is that the big, full sized second hand, is easier to see the seconds. My thought is, if you need that much accuracy, get a digital stop watch that measures to the 100th of a second, but that's just me. I also don't understand the concept of having the previous and following dates showing as well. If you can't count to 31 on your own you probably don't need a watch haha.
Adjusting the band: The band comes big enough you could attach it around your ankle if you wanted haha, so will likely need to be shortened. The manual does not tell you how to, so I will save you some time. It appears that the pins in the links have screws, but they are not. On the inside of the band there are arrows pointing which way the pin needs to go. Take a small screw driver (or something with a point) and hammer and lightly tap the pin until enough is out the other side to pull out with pliers or fingers. Remove appropriate links and then put the pin back in.
